Surgery of the Face

 

Aging of the face is characterised by the following changes:
 

• Skin surface deterioration
• Sagging due to gravity
• Volume loss
   

In our practice, we perform all cosmetic facial procedures under Local Anaesthetic and Conscious Sedation in our own ambulatory facility.

This is done to avoid facial obstructions such as the airway tubes used in General Anaesthetics and to maintain normal facial muscle tone during the procedure, thus leading to a more natural final appearance
