EXPERIENCE

1983 - 1985

Instructor, lecturer and examiner for advanced certificate, Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal candidates in the First Aid training of the SA Red Cross Society.

1985 - 1988

Two lectures per week to 5th yr medical students on aspects of trauma management.

1985 - 1993

Trained more than 140 postgraduate students in the basic skills of microvascular surgery by running 5 day intensive training courses and weekly teaching sessions for hand surgery and plastic surgery registrars.

1992 - 1996
& 2005

Consultant in the Hand Clinic Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, South Africa Tutorials and training of registrars/residents
